Curious about meditation? Never tried before and want to learn some basic skills? Or tried
it and thought « you are not good at it »? Thinking you are unable to shut down your mind?
Good news! You don’t have to. This workshop is made to help you find happiness in
meditation, while finding comfort in stillness.
Meditation is a simple practice available to all, which can reduce stress, increase calmness
and clarity and promote happiness. Learning how to meditate is straightforward, and the
benefits can come quickly. Just 5 minutes of your day to stop and breathe mindfully might
change everything including the way you feel and interact with your environment.
My name is Julie McCormick. I am a yoga instructor, a Registered Nurse, a passionate
traveller, a Mother Earth lover to name only few. I felt in love with meditation about 10
years ago. I was studying for my final exam to become officially a Registered Nurse and the
stress was spiking. I was having anxiety without being conscious of it. I was not sleeping
well and not breathing well. One day, my aunt had me laydown on the floor and taught me
how to meditate.
It was the beginning of an amazing journey.
