Feeling like you always fall behind in the yoga class because you don’t understand the poses or the sensations? Feeling like you don’t how to integrate some of your body parts so you don’t get injured?This workshop is for you!My name is Julie McCormick and I’ve been a runner for over 20 years. Like most runners, I was never really stretching after which resulted in very tight hips and hamstrings.I started practicing yoga over a decade ago and now with over 800hr of yoga teacher training and four years of teaching, the progress in my poses has been phenomenal. But the progress has only been successful through the fundamental awareness of how to practice yoga safely!When you have tights hips and hamstrings, you can easily end up with lower back pain while practicing yoga if you don’t know what you are doing! Been there, done that! And I don’t want you to go through that!For me, it’s very important to teach in a way that supports people in understanding their own body and embrace their personal journey into yoga. My goal is for you to feel and understand what is a normal or good sensation and what should be avoided.This workshop is intended to make any intimidating poses feel much more accessible. We will review all type of poses; from sitting, to standing, to balancing poses.I want people to enjoy yoga, pain free and safely.If you know someone around you who checks those boxes, spread the word!
